I just joined the Brooks Run Happy® Group at Sweat365!

I’m a woman from Alexandria VA USA, born in 1982.

My favorite sports include: running yoga

My goals are: Qualify for the Boston Marathon
Finish the Shamrock and Marine Corps Marathon in 4hrs or better!!!!

My other favorite activities include: Not very good at sports :P.

I am a self motivator, and I’m a finisher-If I say I’m going to do something, I DO IT!!!!!

This is my training blog which I am using to keep track of my fitness progress.

Monday-Day one

My first day back! This time I’m going to train the RIGHT way-do my long runs AND train properly during the week!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so excited! I know that it is a HUGE goal-to qualify for the Boston Marathon-but “Dream big, achieve big” right? I’m going to finish the Shamrock marathon, and I’m going to shave time off, how much is the issue. Even if I don’t make a 3:40, I’ll still do better than 4:45-I know I can! And, I may never live in DC again, so I want to do the Marine Corps Marathon before I leave. I’m really excited, but I’m really scared. Good news is, I know I can do it. I’ve done it before, I’ll do it again, only better!
